Proof of how I made SIGNIFICANTLY extra in one month. (Part-time. Remote. And how you can, too.)

I achieved just under 19K in part-time, freelance writing  in December of 2021. Below, I provide the proof.

I did it all after hours, in my spare time from my full time regular job. (None of the 18,963 total is from my regular. It was done after hours and on weekends.)

The proof

I realize how crazy it sounds that anyone with just an English degree (B.A., Auburn) and a Master's in Education (M.A.) could make 19K (rounded up from 18,963) in after hours freelance writing.

(None of the 19K was from royalties on a book, etc. Nothing like that. It was all per-piece or per-hour B2B copywriting, and it's infinitely repeatable, as you'll see, due to the very high demand from businesses who desperately need content.)

So I'll prove it below.

I'll prove it to you so thoroughly that the proof will be overkill, possibly tedious, by the time I finish.

But that's ok, because the proof is important. It's important because if I'm to help you start making 1,500 a month on 5 hours a week, you'll have to see that it's not only possible, but 100% doable by anyone who did ok in Freshman Comp. (No matter how many decades ago that was.) See the full qualifications needed here.

So 1,500 a month on 5 hours per week is what's possible for anyone.

Now look, I worked many more hours than 5 hours per week, when I took in 18,963 in one month.

Basically, I never stopped working. I worked my regular job. (None of my regular job is counted in the 18,963 total. All that was extra, my part-time.)

I worked freelance projects after my regular, and on weekends. You might say I worked lawyers' hours (successful lawyers work virtually around the clock), but instead of writing briefs I was just writing B2B content.

These proofs below will make it real for you.

 Proof 1

Below, you'll see my total for December 2021, from my Novo Bank account. (Novo is an online bank. I created an account there to receive my payments from freelance writing for B2B copywriting.)

Proof 2

Below, Proof 2 is a screenshot from my Upwork account. It gives you an insight into how I hit 18,963  in a single month. Long term clients! Retainers! These are clients who have repetitive, known jobs they need doing. These jobs take very little "discussion" time. The immediate needs for such pieces are slightly unpredictable. Such clients find it more efficient to keep a writer on retainer who knows exactly how to deliver what they need, when a need arises. When you lock in such a long-term client, they love you, you love them, and you know how to turn out the content they need night after night in your spare time.

But you don't need long-term clients with retainers in order to hit 70 per hour, at 5 hours a week. In fact, that is all based on per-item or per-hour jobs that flood the Internet by the hundreds, if you know where to look. (And how to approach them.)

Proof 3

Below is my relevant certificate statement from Upwork, a freelance marketpace.

(The amount is slightly more than the 18,963 (19,910) because some payment came in over the day's time in which I was working on this blog post.)

Also notice that I really took off toward the end of the year, as I put into practice some specific ways of bidding on jobs that I developed on my own.

(My proposal techniques are not rocket science. But they took some time to figure out. I had to stop listening to the marketing advice from popular freelance copywriting coaches. Their advice complicates marketing WAY too much.)

ALL of this work was done outside of my regular employment hours. It was done after hours and on the weekends.

If you did well in Freshman Comp in college, and have basic organizational ability ... then you can do quite well on just  5 hours of freelance writing a week -- in 6 days from now, not 6 months. you

You just need to know how to market yourself. (I'll teach you that when you study with me, and it's FAR less complicated than other copywriting coaches would have you believe!)

Proof 4

Proof 4, below, shows a VERY SMALL window into my recent clients list. And their pay rates. I took that screen shot a few days after Christmas 2021, which is why they all show 0:00 hours for the previous week.

Proof 5

Proof 5, below, is a screenshot from my Upwork transaction history of about the last half of the month. It shows that yep, those clients were paying me for work. And they were paying on average around $70/hour.

  1. Withdrawals (purple boxed) are withdrawals into my bank account from Upwork.
  2. Service Fees (yellow boxed) are service fees automatically taken by Upwork. Seems expensive but it's very well worth it. All billing and payments are taken care of through Upwork. Plus you can find literally limitless numbers of jobs in Upwork. It saves SO much time.
  3. Hourly and Fixed Price (green boxed) are either payments to me from clients for hourly work or for fixed-price-per-project work. (The really big ones are the retainer-type clients who have a lot of often unpredictable work.)

See how it's done fast and efficiently

1. I teach you -- fast -- how to write what earns

2. I also teach you how to find the clients. (It's NOT what other copywriting gurus are preaching. No networking needed. And no social media, website, cold calling, cold emailing, etc.... none of that is needed. And much of it is essentially useless in today's world.)
